All you people in England?

Question

All you people in England?
What is Turkish Delight? I am reading the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis right now. I just started it and am at the part where the white witch gives Edmund Turkish Delight and I have nooooooo idea what it is!!!!!!!

Answer

Id ask the Turks, since it is a traditional Turkish sweet. A restaurant I used to go to in Portsmouth, Nemrut, on Albert Road, would hand them out instead of mints at the end of a meal. Delicious, better than anything Ive had from a chocolate maker.brTurkish food, for the uneducated, is considerably more varied than the average kebab house would have you believe.brbrEmsey, CS Lewis might not have been English, but the book was set there.brbrFireflie, that would mean that since Im Scottish I wouldnt know, would it? You cant expect Americans to know the difference between England and Britain if people over here dont get it right either.
